I changed into the damn outfit during basketball practice to distract him because I knew it would get him distracted, but I didn't realise I was playing with his emotions. I wake up and I love kissing you first thing even when you don't remember it later. I think about you when you're not around and I want you to hold me so bad I suddenly feel freezing without you. I feel like all my organs are bursting with a need to be near you and it's crazy and intense but it also feels so good when we're together, like I'm on fire.
eddie doesn't know what to say. for a long, long time eddie just sits there looking down at the message. feels his eyes burn a little, just a little, at the sudden swell of feeling. eddie is used to being rejected. he's used to being tolerated. he's not used to someone wanting him like this. wholly and completely, warts and all his infuriating little habits.
it, unfortunately, derails what he wanted to talk about. how if steve likes billy, then - he's got no problem opening things up. he cares about billy. and while he doesn't want mindless fucking, its clear they've got a bond.
a bond which is being pumped full of affection, and guilt, and a little bit of uncertainty that he's worthy of all this. ]
