They're okay for her to identify with, but she wants there to be something more. Chrissy just has a hard time expressing that, being open with her wants and things she craves. She almost pulls back inside herself and shrugs instead of answering. But this is Eddie. He doesn't judge her. So she tries to vocalize what she's thinking.]
But they also can grow even in the harshest conditions, you know? And I thought that maybe a lot of flowers on my arms and legs would make the scars from my surgeries look a little nicer. Maybe people would realize I used to be pretty instead of just seeing a lot of scars.
