[ Paper hastily folded, he leans in for a peck of a kiss and rests an elbow on the wall, super casual. Yep. ]

Just, uhhhh, checking in! I've got some questions. Nothing bad! Just ... curious inquiries.

Okay. I like talking, so...

[ he'll go ahead and get the door open because with Steve these questions could be anything, gesturing for him to step inside with a little flourish and now ]

[ What a gent. Steve heads inside and starts up a little nervous pacing, back and forth in the open space. The piece of paper flaps in his gesturing hands. ]

Alright, okay. Okay! Billy linked me to a website that explained what the hanky in your back-pocket means, [ Steve glances over, wide-eyed because yeah, he knows, ] and at first I was like, what the hell, but then I kept reading and I figured some things out. I wrote them down. Things for us, y'know, going forward.

I'm going to read them out before I curl up and die of embarrassment, if you're cool with that.

[ Jesus Christ, Hargrove. There's meddling and then there's - this. Eddies eyes go wide, fiddling with his hair. ]

Uh... Yeah. Yeah.

[ God, he's saying Okay a lot, Get it together, Harrington. Steve clears his throat, then pauses. ]

I'm prefacing this with the fact I went down some fucked up rabbitholes today and this is a really tame list by comparison, I couldn't even write down the things I didn't like which are kind of self-explanatory and yeah, reading now.

[ Hand on a hip, Steve reads his list. ]

All of these are cool with me. 'Biting, Scratching, Hair Pulling ...' I also put "Light Choking" but I really just tried to branch out and not be as vanilla as Billy said I was.

[ Steve folds his paper, tapping a hand with it as he waits for Eddie's reaction. ]

It's not a long list. I spent a long time on a computer though, I really did. I regret most of it.

[ He's going to have to have a talk with Steve one day. A talk about how you can't just spring these conversations on a guy.

He's as red as a cherry tomato, rocking back on his heel. ]

Babe... [ he finally finds his tongue. ] I hear you, and I appreciate the effort, but I also want to clarify - [ he holds both hands up ] the power dynamic is what I find the most hot. I don't - gotta hurt you to get any of that, and if we try it and you're not into it, that's totally fine too.

And if you wanna switch - you wanna pitch - that's also fine. I only take it from people I trust and obviously I trust you.

[ Babbling as his nerves start rising, his hands restlessly find his belt again to hook on there for stability. ]

This is good, right? Not the browsing the internet alone part, that was frankly disturbing, I could have gone my whole life without seeing a woman with ribbons threaded through the skin of her back, [ dark, dark rabbitholes, he's lucky he wasn't on youtube, ] but I wanted to give you something to ... work with? I didn't want you to feel like you couldn't tell me about any of this.

[ fuck he's cute. Stupid, sweet and cute. Smoking hot in all ways. Eddie straightens up and leans in to kiss him. ]

Appreciate it, big boy. [ he is maybe making a mental note to look that up. ] Did you pick up anything about safe words when you were digging? Because that's a key ingredient to this whole thing working.

I did! I was thinking "Scoops" could be mine. I worked there last summer, wouldn't bring it up unless forced to.

[ His hands slide around Eddie's waist as Steve sways in, stealing another kiss. Earnest. ]

How did I miss the chance to see Steeeve Harrington in a cute little sailor uniform?

[ another kiss, grinning wolfishly at the thought. ]

I usually go with colors. Green light is good, yellow light is slow down, red light is stop.

It's for the best you did, trust me.

[ He doesn't care what Billy says to tease him with, Steve can't imagine Eddie being all S&M. Not as Steve's hot mouth glides along his jaw and plants butterfly kisses by an ear. ]

Is blue "super-good"? Blue should exist.

[ he snorts. ]

I haven't heard you doing that in a while, I might have [ nipping the tendon under an ear, mwah, ] forgotten.

Mmm... We should fix that. [ threading his fingers through Steve's hair, giving a light tug. ]

[retromix]

Are you saying you want to make-out with me, Munson?

[ Nosing his way up a cheek, he grins and wraps his arms around Eddie to start pulling him toward an armchair. The bed hints at heavier things and he doesn't want either of them to bolt. ]

Think I can get you moaning in the next ten minutes?

Steve. Steve Harrington. I never not want to have my lips on your body.

[ He'll skirt Steve's lips to nibble an earlobe, hands sliding down to grab his ass. ]

[ Laughter bubbles up as he arches against him, trying to pull his ear away as he gets tickish. Steve drops back in the armchair and tugs on Eddie's hands to have him follow, wanting to get his hands under a shirt and on skin. Scars. Any part of him he can touch. ]

Get down here, trouble.

Don't gotta tell me twice.

[ he falls bonelessly, letting his long fingers walk up Steve's chest before sliding around his neck to pull him close for a breathless kiss. ]

[ God, he loves him. It feels like his chest swells ten times the size of his lung capacity when Eddie kisses him, a relieved moan painting across Eddie's tongue with every lick into that hot mouth. Steve loves the way he wraps his arms around him and gets those thighs settled either side of his hips, a lapful of Eddie, of his boyfriend, simplifying all his cares and concerns. How could he have any when getting greedy handfuls of that ass is so much more important?

The kissing Steve loves most of all, shivering up for more. ]

[ It's a nice, long make-out session. Reacquainting himself with every inch of Steve's body. The dips of his muscles, the raised skin of his scars, the sweet dip of his shoulder. ]

Now... For something really sexy. [ he gives one last little peck on his lips, waggling his eyebrows. ] You feeling up to braving pigeon shit while I try to test these mysterious powers of mine?

[ Once his lips are tingling with the threat of going numb, he looks up at Eddie (sighing happily, entirely content with his arms wound around him) and arches a curious brow.

Oh, pigeons.

Steve's laugh is a startled bark, dropping his forehead to Eddie's chest. Don't mind him pretending he isn't easy for Eddie Munson and was surprised with birds. ]

Yeah, sure. We can head out to the parking lot I did some training in, if you like.

[ But first! One last hug with his face burying in the curve of Eddie's neck and Steve's hands roaming under his shirt, spreading up his back. Cosy and happy.

Muffled, he nods. ]

Off you hop, then.

For a king, you make a lovely throne.

[ Eddie laughs - a maniacal cackle, warm and brimming with energy as he climbs off of his throne, pulling Steve with him. ]

Keep the flattery up and see where it gets you, Mister Big Bad Hanky.

[ Steve levels a look at him as he's pulled to his feet, finding his keys, phone and wallet on their way out. His arm slings around Eddie's shoulders as they walk, testing out whether that's okay or not. ]

If you summon a whale by accident, I'm abandoning you to be swallowed whole. I'm not signing up for that.

[heatmetal]

[ welcomed even, judging by the way Eddie's arm wraps around him in turn. ]

You won't fight to avenge me, Captain Ahab?
